Site Update

When Wanda and I first started talking about creating a web site or blog to promote wineries in Southwest Ontario. (Lake Erie North Shore and Pelee Island) this web site was the beginning.
Shortly after creating this site I started work on a wine review site for our wine region. My focus has been on that web site (EssexWineReview.com)
At this time, I have no plans time to update this site. Please visit EssexWineReview.com for updates, news and reviews of wines from the Southwest Ontario Wine region.

Did Sanson and Viewpoint Wineries Leave SWOVA?

I just noticed something. The new South West Ontario Vitners Association (SWOVA) route map does not include Sanson Estate Winery or Viewpoint Estate Winery. Something must be up.
I did ask around but no one was really saying too much which only gets me more curious.
Strangely enough when Wanda and I were were at Sanson Winery a few weeks ago I overheard someone working there say that Sanson was going in a different direction. They planned to expand there operation in other areas such as meats and fresh vegetables.
As for Viewpoint Estates, this is a big, beautiful winery similair to many Niagara Region Estate Wineries so I wonder with they are no longer part of SWOVA.
I guess I will have to keep on digging to figure this one out.
